May have found a '77 F250 Highboy locally and want to swap in a D60, either SRW or DRW version. I need one out of a '78 or '79 truck.

I have a GM D60 front with 4.56 gears to trade if you have a Ford D60 front. I don't care what gear ratio the Ford D60 has as long as its complete.

Cash or trades....what do you have? /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I may be able to get one from a yard down here. Does it absolutely have to be from a 78 or 79? Whats left of this truck looks to be an 80's era. I'm guessing thats one of the axles I took out for you huh? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

A '96 would have the spring perch center-to-center holes too far apart to fit the '77 Ford perches. Those newer trucks are somewhere around 37" apart and I need the shorter one at 31.5" or 32.5", can't remember which one. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Bill, how soon did you want to do the swap? I'd rather wait til I got the F250 first, just so in case the deal falls thru, I'm not stuck with a D60 I can't use. BTW, is yours a SRW or DRW? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Too far and wrong gear ratio. I may take up Bills offer to meet him in Omaha real soon if he still wants to do it. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
