OK I found a part number by searching the sight. #18183. When I called the dealer, they wanted $86.65 each. What the hell is up with that? Is this the right number? I have seen some post where these have been bought for as little as $10. Any suggestion on where I can find some of these?

Try another dealer and give them the complete part # or try the application. Should be less than $15 each. Otherwise Parts Mike can get these around $15 each.

Umm, doesn't anyone read my reviews? [IMG]
I have the correct part number at the bottom of the "Extended Shock mounts" review in the source box. I bought mine from parts Mike as well, you can also check the dealers, and they will vary in price as well.

Hey parts Mike lives in my home town!! Auburn, Calif.
Boy the good old days, long hair, chasin chicks, blowin smoke signals.....SLAP... OK i'm back to reality[IMG]

Have you guys ever heard of doing this mod on a K5 with a 4 speed?? My Z-bar bolt mount is right above the stock shock mount. The only thing I can tink of would be to dril a big hole in the 250 mount that will allow the nut to poke thru the 250 plate??...??
Do you think that will weekin the shock tower??

Not sure about the Z-bar thing. You can mount the shock tower anywhere but you may have to modify the bottom mount a little or make a new mount.
