Just a question for all of you that have done the conversion to the Ford shock towers for the upper front to replace our stock ones, so that we can fit the Rancho 9012s - where did you get yours? The Ford dealer told me yesterday that it was an obsolete part # and that he couldn't find any. Do I hav eto go to the yard and get them? Is it JUST the 1980 F250 that will work for these?

    Thanks for the help.

I just got off the phone with the Ford dealer and got the same thing. He found a part number for 87 and newer that was E2TZ-18183-A and the picture for the 80 and 87 was the same. The price was under $11 each. He was not sure if there was a differance between the two though.

I bought a pair at the Ford Dealer 2 months ago. They didn't have them in stock so they ordered them. I got them in 2 days.

    The part number is correct - P/N E5TZ-18183-A. It matches a 1985 Ford F350.

I had no problems getting mine. You might want to check back with a different sales person or different dealership. Steve had the exact part number and it was all a snap. Installation was easy... check out my photo page.
