I went to the Ford Dealer and they didn't have anything in stock new or old for shock towers. I gave them the part number and basically they didn't know if they could get them and if they could it would be around $20 each. They were very rude and acted like they didn't want to help me, so I walked out.
Does anyone know of any place online to get these? Thanks.

that price sounds steep. i don't know of any place on line to get them, you could always search google. if there is one nearby i would call another ford dealer and see if they are more helpfull.

Whats the shipping price? say on 4 of them /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
It doesn't tell you a shipping cost before you put in your credit card # I hate places like that /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I just ordered 4 of them and it said shipping starts at $7.99 and goes upto 10% so it should be $7.99 for shipping because 10% would be less than $4 /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I ended up paying almost $40 a set for the two sets I've got before it was all over with. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I think I'm going to try to use them front and rear. My main problem in the rear is that I don't have enough down travel, but I've got some wasted on the top side (seems to me that the axle would hit the frame before the shock closed).

I guess we'll see if I can figure out something tomorrow when I get to mess with it.

I ordered four, since my total use 37$ 10% would have been $3.70 for shipping, there is a $7.95 minum on shipping so it was like $46 shipped for 4 /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Y'all need to get better Ford dealerships. I walked into one of the local dealerships and they said ok be right back and somethin like 24 dollars later I had the shock towers in hand and drivin away. Good luck to y'all in the future.

I called my dealership, they didn't have any in stock. He told me of other dealerships that had them and gave me phone numbers to call. I asked if he could get them threw the Ford dealership line or something and be told me by the time he ordered them @ $13.97 each, paid shipping $8 and took his 10% for reselling them to me $3.00 - I'd have about $35 in each set. There was only one dealership (in Illinios) that had two, then there was two dealerships in Ohio that had 1 each. So $13.97 x 4 plus three shipping costs..... I just ordered two sets shipped for $45 from one place and I didn't have to leave the house or make a bunch of long distance phone calls /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
