A few things that my club does that I feel make the difference is we have a safety list of required items. Most of it's common sence stuff but you would be surpised at how often people that say they have wheeld for years don't have. Also it is LAW that in a national forest your supose to have a Axe and a Shovel. Again many people don't.
My club also requires a Medical info sheet to be in the vehicles in the glove box and one needs to be filled out for every person in the vehicle. The point of this is to have information on hand if your injured. This includes Name, SSN, Who to contact to collect your carcus, Insurance poliicy and provider info, Alergies, Address, etc.
Unfortunatly I don't have my club Bi Laws and Medical sheet available but here is the safty list.
