Last night a found a baby squirrel on the ground. He seemed sick or hurt so i took him into my garage b/c we have two outdoor cats that probably would had killed him. He can not be too old, hes fits in my hand. He moves around, but slowly. I dont see any cuts or broken bones. I put him in a big cage with some water and food, i saw him/ or she eat a little bit. Hes pretty friendly, wont bite

    Red x...

Yeah, watch out for rabies, read up on the symptoms at least.

I had a squirrel fall into our little pool from a tree, and he was breathing his last breath's by the time I got him out with the skimmer. Poor bugger...

You want me to get a rehabilitators phone # near you. For as much as my wife knows about animals she always brings babies to them because they have a better chance.

They most of the time get wild when they get older. And get real annoying.

My cousin had the same deal a couple fell out of a tree, and they kept them from the dogs. They more or less brought them back to health then took them out deep into the grove and let them go.

Sorry been working all day....703-440-0800 or 703-440-5019 are numbers for wildlife rescue.

Wife says if it your going to try it your self get kitten weaning milk and a kitten baby bottle from the pet store. Just tell them your cat abandoned its kitten at a few days and you need the stuff to feed it. If it makes it and gets older you can switch to dog food and nuts. Good luck
