Okay, I'm new to this Dana 60/14bolt stuff but I've been looking for parts to get the swap done. I go down to my local salvage yard yesterday and find 4 14 bolt rear axles--all in single rear wheel C-Series 1 tons 1975 1978 1980 1985. I'm not sure on what gears or anything but what's a ballpark figure for value on these?
    Thanks

When i was looking for a set in Colorado, a certain 4x4 shop quoted me $550/450 for them. I found a set here in Wis for $100 each. I think local market determines their value. The Colo price was WAY on the high side.

Sounds like your not in a hurry so do some more reading about it. Gearing can make a diff on what you should have and buy. Get a FF - full floater just in case you break a axle and if you can find one with a locked it's a big plus+++ /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

all in single rear wheel C-Series 1 tons

Also keep in mind that if you swap a 1 ton rear into a K5, Sub, K10, or K20 that you will have to move the spring perches and shock mounts. Might want to consider that when looking around.
