Now I have a Honda Foreman S 450 4X4. I used to have a Honda 250r. It was really fast, but sucked in the mud.

I am actually in Ca now - not much closer.....

I shouldn't sell it anyway since it will be impossible to get enough out of it to cover the $3500 I spent on the engine. :)

"dune fest" as in Sandfest held each year in Winchester Bay Or. I have been to it the last 3 years it is crazy, well crazy is an understatment. I took the Jimmy the first year and I took my Cherokee the last 2. Lots of people and lots of fun. this years was taped by the people that do the Quicksand videos. Next year the Willy's will be there. There are alot of sweet rigs that come from all over the west coast for this event.

Winchester Bay is awesome! I do try to avoid sandfest tho - after seeing max chaos in Glamis, those weekends no longer appeal to me after a 9 hour drive. Don't get me wrong, I love idiots but after the long drive I need to RIDE and it gets spooky with so many people there.
The pic on my link is from Florence - another good place.

Winchester is rated one of the top 5 spots to ride in the nation. I was in Coos Bay and Florence this last weekend. I perfer Florence because it is closer to home. I was looking at getting a banshee but the bank told me no, twice LOL.

Stay away from the Banshee unless you have unlimited funds for upgrades and repairs. the Banshee is VERY weak stock and gets real expensive for upgrades. But they are tough and fast when you get em built right.
I would get a Raptor or Bombardier if I was to do it again even tho I would take an HP hit.

I might try too get there next year.Just something about riding next too the ocean.Hey emmet.Just put a cr500 motor in your 250r frame and rock on.I've riden one like this and it was just as scary as my Zilla.Easier too get parrts for the cr motor too.Don't know if it has a counter balancer or not.But i didn't notice too much vibration on my friends. The thanksgivong run too Little Sahara in Oklahoma is for sure if any one wants too go.

If the "Zilla" thrills you then you need to be careful around a Raptor. You might just fall in love, for over all performance and fun, accept no substitutions. Out of the box, first thing I did was find my neighbor kids and thump his Banshee. Belongs to my brother inlaw so he gave me the pleasures since I had to go and get it for him. New pipe and a tiny upgrade in jetting, and not to be funny there is nothing out there to compare torque to. Keep in mind as well there is a lot of me to push. Bashee full of Mods + 190 driver. Raptor with pipe (no jetting yet) + 6'2" 340 pund driver. I am telling you torque monsters.
