Hey guys. I was out 4x4in' my '77 GMC Jimmy the other day and i hit a rock, heard a loud pop. I got out and checked it, everything looked fine. Apon further examination at home i saw that i had popped a rivet head off and tore the two brackets that mount the leafspring bracket to the frame. (the truck had previous front end drivers side frame damage from before i bought it)

that pic is the front of my drivers side leaf spring.

i am wondering if anyone knows where i can buy after market brackets or someone who can fab those up? I dont' want to have to pull 'em out of a junkyard, but if i have to, i will.
Any help will be mucho appreciated! Thanks!

Just get the hangers off a stock frame in the junkyard and replace them. Use grade 8 bolts instead of rivets.

If you use the bolts, dont forget the lock-tite
