Suggestions of a good paint for my frame rails?? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
use endura, very tough stuff.
dupont imron 5000...very tough stuff...seems almost like powercote..dosent chip as easy...we use it on heavy equipment trailers that we build...and seems to look good for a decent amount of time...considering there is constanly metal tracked machines runnin over it day in and day out...
I'll second POR...
Spray painted my battery tray, in short order it was covered in that white powdery crap. Painted it with POR about a year ago, nothing. Painted the front frame rails in my car, even at the edges, I couldn't break it off with my fingernail.
JUST GOT MINE BACK FROM THE SAND BLASTER, POR15 FOR SURE.
I WOULD NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE.
Where do you get this POR15 stuff? Can it be used as regular paint?
