Anybody ever used the weld in frame repair on a first gen K10?

I've been looking at the different years and it looks like the frames are the same behind the steering boxes..

I spose anything could go in (with a torch and hammer)but would it go in without major modifications to the parts or truck...

The weld on repair kit does work on the 1st gen, should be minimal heat and beat!

We're rounding up parts at this point, gotta see about time frame, but probably no more than a couple days for flips.

Well, thats damn good news! I guess I'll finish building my axle, mount the tires. blah blah blaah this weekend and pop the rear in when the flip comes next week. Might get to take my truck! Truely good news.
