Check out this great site that is giving away totally FREE iPods! :yikes:

I'm a huge skeptic, so I checked this out before posting my info. Check out the following story from Wired magazine: Free iPods Legit

It's a completely legitimate offer, and this company has already given away $4 million in FREE stuff!

All you have to do is join, complete an online offer, and refer friends to do the same. That's it! (I joined up to get the DVD movies sent directly to the house from Blockbuster).

Here is my referral link. To help me get my iPod, click this exact link to join, or copy and paste it into a browser:

Edit: Link deleted. I have enough! Scroll on down and click on someone elses link. :D Thanks gang!!!! :thumb:

Once I get my 5 links, I'll delete mine, so others can get in on the action! :xmas:

Here's my referal link...please use it!

You have to agree to buy something...but some of them are good. I ordered an ink cartridge and with that, got a free magazine subscription to Forbes.

    Come on iPod!!!

In the fine print it says that nothing will show up until the conditions of the particular offer have been satisfied. So it could take a while for everything to show up. For example, I signed up for the Blockbuster DVD deal, but won't get credit until after the end of the 2-week trial period.

The "sponsor" companies pay the folks at freeipods.com a set fee for each new customer that gets generated by the ads. (Between $25 and $90!) The idea is that this method of marketing costs less than mass advertising. Some web sites charge as much as $10 PER CLICKTHROUGH for advertising links. :yikes: Yet most of the people that clickthough never purchase the product or service. The idea is that this "viral marketing" concept creates "sticky" customers that actually sign up and utilize the product or service, so the cost per customer turns out to be lower.

Some folks over on colorado4x4.org claim to have received their iPods already. :-) It appears to be legit. I sure hope so! :-)
