    Jiminy? MrK5?

I'd love it, but I could probably make one for the cost in gas to drive up there.

If someone wants it for their tank let me know I'll pick it up for you.

Personally I don't like them, I've seen Scott hang up on his before.

I'd rather hang up on the skid than rip a hole in the tank. :yikes: I once ripped the tank right out from under a '72 K5. Crunched it against a rock and the tank crumpled and both straps broke.

I don't think it would fit my K10 longbed too well. :D Thanks for the offer though. :thumb:

Once the TBI swap is complete I'll be changing to a bed mounted fuel cell so that will eliminate saddle tanks all together.

Yep put one on mine thanks to azblazer. I would much rather dent the skid than make a drain hole in the tank. Mine only takes away about 1/2 inch in clearance. I will sacrifice that knowing I can skid it across an obstacle rather than leave me somewhere with no gas..

I feel the same way about axles. I keep seeing people getting hung up on them, so I'm getting rid of mine to eliminate that problem... ;)
