Regular fridge part can't be fine , all the cold air comes from the freezer , if it is a problem it could start getting warmer . I would start with the defrost thermostat , heaters and timer if its older . If its newer I would bet its the adaptive defrost board . The defrost system dictates how often the defrost comes on , and when to turn the compressor back on ..... regardless of where your temp is set at :k5: :k5:

Clean off the coils. If they're covered with dust they won't exchange the heat, just like your radiator.

As a rule of thumb you want to have atleast a 12 pack in the fridge at all times...But thats just the house fride and not including whats in the pantry, now if we're talking shop fridge then your gonna need to bump that figure up to around a case...

Also for the fridge in the shop, your beer to food ratio will have to be right around 75/25 and no girly food either just chocolate and meat products and that old bottle of mezca Mom brought home from Mexico...Let me know if you need anymore help, I'm here for ya man...

It depends. How old is the fridge? Stick a thermometer inside the fridge with it cranked to the coldest setting and see what it reads. It may just be time for a new one.

Was outside playing grind my crossmember with Dave . Get me a model number and I can tell you the most common failures I see . But first do as mentioned by others and move and clean the coils . Also it wouldn't hurt to see if the fan is working down there by the compressor , if its not a household fan will tide you over for now until Monday , ask your plumbing parts guy where to go they can hook you up with a place like mine in your neck of the woods , find the oldest counter guy and treat him nice :k5: :k5:
