Try the Bald Mountain trail, it is full of fun, challenging obstacles! I was up there for the Kingsburg 4WDC High Sierra Poker Run over Labor Day weekend, it was fun! Go past Shaver by about 10 miles, and continue on past the first sno park...when you reach the second one (on the right), turn in and a trail head starts at the back of the parking lot...I can't remember exactly where the trailhead was, but there were signs...

Wish I could gte up there again, it was a fun spot!

There is a bunch of trails you can get to from the bald mountain area.Lots of good stuff.I think we may start from there and see what happens. My buddy with the Toy has lived here his whole life and knows all the cool spots. Let me know when you can make it .Im up for a trip up there just about any time.
