    It's on!

Every time I've gone out hunting I've gotten closer and closer to a decent group of hen and tom turkeys. This Friday it's game on and one of them is gonna come home with me... I've been craving some wild turkey and fried squirrel legs.

Turkey hunting is perhaps my most favorite; about as challenging as deer hunting, but I just enjoy it a lot more :D

My dad just emailed me today saying he busted a tom out back of my place. I hate those retired folk, all that time on their hands.

My dad and I finally got a tag for opening day last year, got both our birds in an hour, it was kind of anti-climactic to tell you the truth. Eh well, the turkey gods were just paying us back for spending an entire day hunting in a tropical storm three years ago. :D

T minus 7 hours and counting until WW3 is brought down upon the turkey population....

I've got an excellent battle plan worked out.

Then I'm also bringing along the .22 in the event that I do kill an avian, I can still destroy small furry animals.
