They say the average temp of the earth is waht 68? We have had like 20 something days of 100+ heat and most have been 103-106 with 70 percent humidity. I would really like to see that 68 right now. When it gets 30 here, I drive around with the window down cause I know it isnt lasting long.

    CHILLY here too!!!

It was only 54 degrees here overnight!..I had to light my woodstove out in the shop yesterday,it was only 65 degrees yesterday, and it rained all day..still murky and cloudy here now,and only 68 degrees..our summer is already over..getting dark earlier every day,and temps this low in AUGUST are not a good indication of how cold this winter will be..Farmers Almanac is predicting a "much colder and wetter winter than normal"...after our "mild" winter last year,it won't take much to make it feel worse!..

I'd love to have a place down south to live,at least during the winter..I'm sick of having only 3 months of "summer",and often its a sucky rainy one here..and I hate snow, and plowing it ,shovelling it,and the cold SUCKS!..nothing to do here all winter either..
