ok under the 79 K10 ther eis about 1" or 1.25" of splined end of the front shaft showing- where the front and rear halves slide together, and it is loose there i can wiggle it all side to side a bit, seem like the shaft is overextended ? the truck doesnt appear to be lifted, only has two regular leaves up front plus another underneath the other two with curled wavy ends.
the sahft has a CV joint at the T case and another shaft came with the truck and has no CV joint., what is correct for a 79 K10 with 203 and auto ?

    thanks for anything.
