Guys, I need to replace the inner axle seals on my 10 bolt front axle. In theory, if I pull the gears out, can I just put them back in without having to make any adjustments? Thanks for the help, I've never done this before.

In theory yes...as long as you keep track of what shims went where. Prolly a good idea to run a gear mark pattern after it's reinstalled just to confirm it's within spec though.

yes as long as it goes in the same exact way it came out. but i noticed on your other post you are putting different gears in it? if so you will have to reshim it.

Yeah, actually I'm gonna re-gear it as soon as I save some cash, but since I'll have some free time this week, I'm putting in the 14 bolt this week. Thanks for the input so far, guys.
