After a long delay I finally got the time to hook up my new buzz box /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yeah all I had to do was add a sub panel with a 70A breaker

So I brushed all the rust off this bumper that has been in the weather for 2 months waiting and started to burn metal. Here is the almost finished product:

    Sweet Jimmy!
I would go Herculiner...it would be a tougher finish and just as easy to touch up as paint. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Looks great !!! I'd take it to the local bumper chrome shop & ask how much to plate it, otherwise I think it would look good painted /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's used metal I picked up at the scrap yard. It's kinda rough so I'm leaning toward herc! There is also a powder coating place in town but the I dont think the metal is clean enough to get a good finish...

Gonna put some shackles on it today if the weather holds out... - /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Looks awsome so far. I remeber seeing your rear bumper awhile back, that is cool as well. Can't wait to see the finished product. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That's an awesome bumper man! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
    Fit's nice!
You said the steel is rough,I'd lean toward the herc. liner. If the finish on the steel was good I'd say powdercoat it.Powdercoating dosn't hide anything. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
