The hubs have a different offset, they will make the wheels stick out like 5" more on each side. Other than that they are the same axle. You can get SRW hubs or have the DRW ones converted, but neither way is exactly cheap. How much is the axle, it might be a good deal anyways.

IIRC the spindles will need to be changed or machined down.

Someone had this done by someone... Sorry I forgot.

Get it if it's ~$800 or less. If you don't get it LMK Where it IS!

You will need to either swap the DRW hubs for SRW hubs or have the DRW hubs machined as previously mentioned. The rotors from the DRW axle will work but the stud holes need to be drilled out slightly larger. No other parts need to be changed.

Other than the width issue the housing is a direct bolt up to your Blazer.

It's 1000.00 canadian, out of an 81 dually with 4.56 gears, I was looking for something I could just bolt in.I would have to change the gears, put the machining and hubs ontop of that and it's too much for me.
It's in Vernon, British columbia. probably too much of a PITA for you to get it down there anyhow.
If you are interested let me know and I'll get you the number.
Thanks for the quick responses.

I'm starting small, 35" tires currently running 33",and I'm building an all around vehicle for a DD and bush running.
In a few years I'm sure I will be running 39.5" and looking for 4.56 gears. But I have to justify the money I'm spending on this thing, and to do that I'll have to let the wife drive it, I have to turn it into a tractor slowly.
I figure about a year of driving it and she should be ready for something newer, and then I'll go big.

It may only be 633.00 us but it is still 1000.00 canadian.

There is another guy up here that has one, only problem is the guy is still driving the truck it's under. He wants 3500 for the damn thing but the only thing worth any money is the front axle, cant even sell the rest of the garbage on it to offset the price.
I drive by it everyday, just waiting for it to break down so I can buy just the axle.
