Hey does anyone know the diameter and thread pitch of the 2 bolts or studs which hold the leaf springs to the axle housing on the pass. side?

They are 5/8" and coarse thread. I just replaced some on a D60 when I installed a lift on another customers truck not too long ago. [IMG] I used regular grade 8 bolts.

I have to second what mj said. Mine are 9/16 dia fine thread. I've just used two old lug nuts for mine with the flat face against the spring plate.

The two bolts that bolt the spring pad to the housing are 5/8 corse thread bolts. The studs that hold on the steering arm are 9/16 fine thread.

And, as far as I know, GM D60s all had bolts in the spring plates (well, 3 u-bolts, 2 bolts), not studs. Dodge had studs. Not sure about Ford.
