front lift springs!!

    any ideas or tricks to installing these? I cant get the jackstands far enough forward to support the weight of the engine.

    I used the taller jack stands from Sears. Supported it right next to the front mounts on the cab.

    I used the 6 ton jack stands from wal mart and had to place them on top of (2) 6"x6" blocks per side (blocks were set side by side) and placed them just behind where the frame starts to go up into the engine compartment.

    I always put 2 4x4s next to each other on the ground and put my jackstands on top of that.

    When I swapped my front axle yesterday I jacked up one side, took the tire off, then lowered the truck until the axle was only a few inches off the ground. It made it much easer to get the axle in place that way.
