front output seal on 208 tcase????

    my front seal is leaking on the tcase.
    i have never changed one out ?
    how difficult is it, how much for a new seal?

    Easy and only $8.00. Drop your front drive shaft, remove the yoke, pull out old seal, reverse process and your'e done. Should only take a 1/2 hour max. Depending on beer breaks!!! The one thing you need to make sure is that the yoke is not grooved. Mine was, you will have to buy a speedi-sleeve. I got mine from NAPA for $16.00. Be careful putting the sleeve on the yoke it's thin. I used liguid steel under it to fill up the grooves. If you don't the sleeve is soft and thin enough to collapse into the grooves and it will leak again.
