Front & Rear Axle Alignment

    My wife was driving the 88 Blazer, while I was following her. I noticed that the left rear wheel looked like it did'nt line up with the left front.
    The front wheel was out further than the rear. The right side looks funny too, but not quite as much as the left.
    Is the rear axle narrower than the front on Blazers?

    yes. the rear axle is about 3 inches shorter than the fronts. all gm's were like this. If you want to correct this, look into some wheel spacers. only 1.5 inches per side. I think Steve covers these is the product review area above.

    I thought my truck might have been hit at one time and a bent frame had the axle out of alignment.

    Whew!!! All if right with the world!
