Yeah I searched and didn't find it. Wasn't someone using one of the front spring hangers for a 4" shackle flip to get the correct angle and height? What was the scoop? I want to get the proper angle this time but don't have the funds for ORD and don't like the look of Echobit. So whoever did this old school junk, gimme a heads up!

Blue_Beast did that. That is his old user name...his new user name is COCHEV I think. Anyways he did the front hanger as a flip bracket thing to his old Blazer. I saw the swap first hand and it was slick. IIRC it was a 1/2 ton pick-up front rear spring hanger...

I did it, but I cut it down to make a 2in lift. flip flip 2

I tried to give some info how I did it in the caption. My measurements are for the 2in lift, a 4 in will be different.

I didnt want the shackle hanging below the tank and (OK I admit it) for astetics (sp) I didnt wanna see that much shackle. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif But mostly didnt want it hanging below the tank.

I just chopped off the top hole and trimmed down to the next one, and ground it clean.
