I went to get new frame bushings for my front sway bar on my 77 Jimmy to find what they gave me wont fit, about a 1/4" gap between ends of bushing. The ones the sold me are for a 1 1/16" bar. I got them at autozone, I checked there site and thats the size they say fits. I havent measured it yet but was hoping you guys could let me know what size bushings to get from experience (so i dont goof up). Thanks ~Mark~ 77' Jimmy

    The k-series swaybars either have a 1-1/16" or a 1-1/4" diameter.
Sounds like you have the latter.

I just went though this with autozone also. TX Mudder is right about the sizes.
You probly have the 1-1/4 inch bar. I had the guy at autozone look through
a lot of different chevys and finaly found one that fit. I think it is from a 3/4
ton suburban but I may be wrong. It was deffinatly a suburban though. When
I get home, I'll post the part #.
