    Hey all,
Lately on my '91 the front tires squabble a little bit when i make a tight turn, and it's bothering me because I cant figure out what's causing this. I jacked up the front end, and spun both tires to make sure the hubs weren't stuck in lock, and they both spin freely. I've talked to some people and they say their 4x's do this, and some say they don't, so I'm not sure if it's normal, or if something needs to be looked at. It's all stock drivetrain (10 bolt axles, NP241 'case, etc) with 31x10.5 tires. Thanks!

Depending on the type of squeal it COULD be a wheel bearing that is going out or lacking lubrication (more noticable in a turn when more pressure is put upon it). If you have a bearing freeze to a spindle (from lack of lube), it can be a bear to fix (costly too). It might not hurt to pull the wheels and inspect and repack the bearings, even if it's not them, you may find out what is causing the noise. Plus you won't have to worry about your bearings for a while.
