Well, life gets the better of you sometime, and with moving, I won’t have a place for the rig at my apartment. So I have to sell the Black Bear.

This is a trail rig. Its street legal (by a hair) and is driven to trails. Its got lots of custom bodywork, mostly as it gets into places mechanically it has no business being in structurally. It has been following buggies for most of its life in its current incarnation, and the aesthetics reflect that.

    OK, the specs:

    1977 Chevrolet K5
49-State vehicle (no cats, lax smog requirements, registration paid)
GMPP 285HP New Crate motor (less then 2k miles)
    - Performer Intake
    - HEI
    - Q-Jet
    - Holley Pro-jection FI Kit (never installed, complete)
    - Hooker Shorty Headers (don’t hang at all)
    - Flowmaster Series 40 dual exhaust
TH350 Transmission (less then 2k miles)
    - Manual valve body
    - HD Stall converter
    - Deep TCI Aluminum pan
    - 24,000# Cooler
ORD Doubler (less then 1k miles on unit)
    - 32 spline throughout
    - Both cases rebuilt
    - Southbay Drivelines (14” Long travel front, 1.5 ton CV rear)
    AXLES
    Dana 60
    - ORD Crossover steering
    - 5.13’s
    - Deee-troit locker
    - IOR .25” Diff cover
    - Rockrod
    - Trailmaster steering stabilizer
    14BFF
    - 5.13’s
    - Deee-troit locker
    ROLLING STOCK
    - 39.5x15x16.5 Interco TSL’s
    - 8-hole back steel rims
    - Grooved
    - ~70% left on the rear ~50% on the front
    - 3 Spare tries, 1 spare rim

    SUSPENSION
    - ProComp 6” springs
    - ORD HD Shackles
    - Springer Suspension System rear (57” F-150’s with Drop Shackle)
    - 16” travel shocks in the back (through the bed)
    BODY
    - Kustom body work by mother nature
    - Fully hacked fenders with rolled lips
    - Flat black
    - Some rust on hood, surface rust on various body parts
    - 6pt roll cage with integrated seat cradle by Greg72
    - Full Autometer ProComp gauges (5” Tach & Speedo, 2 5/8” Trans Temp, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Fuel Level, Voltmeter)
    - Acura Seats
    - Tilt steering
    - Rhinolined tub
    - Vinyl flooring
    - Doors optional (off now)
    - Leopard skin headliner (chicks dig it)

I have receipts for 95% of the stuff. Lots of miscellaneous spare parts too. They all go with the rig. Pics can be seen here: http://www.norcalbigdawgs.net/Gallery/album47

    Asking $8,000 USD for it.

I am also sorry to hear you have to sell it. Nice truck. Is there any way to keep it if someone else could store it for you? Also have you considered parting it out? Let me know if I could help you find a job here in Denver. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I park mine at my apts. with no probs. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.giffind a way to keep it
