my fuel gauge went out. stuck on about 1/16 full after "dancing" around for a week. i seem to remember someone posting awhile back about how to check to see where the problem is exactly, shorting something to ground and the needle goes full or empty and how that will tell me where the problem is located, gauge or sending unit? does this make any sense or did i dream it all?? :)
    thanks!

it went something like this. in your fuse box there is a light brown cable that goes all the way to your gastank. the readings should be between 10-90 Ohms. you can try and use a few resistors in those ranges to see if your guage acts accordingly. not sure if grounding it makes it go full or putting power(make sure you use a resitor though) in it.

    good luck,
