Does anyone know if the 83 full size blazer fuel line is a hose or is it steel?

Steel EXCEPT where there might be movement.

All along the frame its steel, from tank to frame its rubber, from frame to fuel pump its rubber, and from fuel pump to carb it's steel. Probably less than 12" of rubber on the main fuel line.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Any ideas where I can order a new one that comes from the pump to the carb? I called the dealership and they didn't have one listed.

Sounds to me like they are A)idiots or B) lazy.

Pretty sure those are still available (they are definitely in the old parts books) but you can try www.lmctruck.com or www.gmpartsdirect.com

gmpartsdirect.com will probably look the part up for you if you email them, they are good about that.

I would just look in summit for the braded steel fuel line set that they sell from pump to carb. What kind of carb do you have. I just did a TBI swap and have the line but it has been modified to fit a Holley. If nothing else you can buy some straight fuel line and a bender and make your own. I see you are in Houston also; what part?
