fuel pump relay

    i have an 87 k5 blazer and i was wondering where exactly is this relay located, and also i was wondering if anyone has had any problems getting the fuel filter out, this is my first time doing it so maybe i am doing something wrong cause i can get one side loose but the other side doesnt wanna budge, thanks.

    Relay is on the firewall beside the heater/AC box. Your filter should be on the passenger frame rail and it shouldn't be any trouble to get out. I've been scavenging parts of various fuel system to build my hybrid and I've had no trouble with any of them (including an 87 TBI pickup).
