i have installed my new vdo millenium gauges and the sending unit that came with the kit doesnt read right for the tank. the instructions say that when the tank is empty it will have a ohm reading of 10 and when its full it will read 180ohms.
i have read that chevy uses the 0-90 ohm reading senders. i hooked my original sender up and it reads 1/2 tank when it should read full. it seems to read exactly 1/2 of what it should read.

heres my question......my blazer is a 1972...did chevy use the 0-90ohm reading back then or did they uses something else?

im not an electrical genius so please keep any explainations in stupid peoples terms /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gifthanks.
