Hey all, I removed my gas tank last night for the shackle flip and am wondering if there is a way to fit a bigger one than my 20 gal. without changing anything ? Thanks !

LMC has a 25 Gallon or a 31 Gallon replacement fuel tank in their catalog. They are $149.99 each. The part numbers are 32-5943 for the 25 gallon one and 32-5946 for the 31 gallon tank. Give em a call @ 1-800-222-5664 and see if upgrading to a bigger tank would require and mods (my guess is that it would fit in w/o too much trouble [IMG]) Youd also need tank straps which are $40 per set. Good Luck [IMG]

Check out this baby. Extra Capacity Fuel Tank. I have not gotten around to trying one though, as I am spending all my money on the front end and the doubler for the next few months.

If you're going to get a new or salvaged 31 gal. tank anyway, you might want to get one from an '88 or later model. That way if you ever decide to go with fuel injection, you will already have the tank with the baffles to combat fuel starvation from sloshing.

Just a thought for the possible future.[IMG]

Does anyone know if the factory skid plate that came on some K5s with the 25gal tank also fits the 31gal tank?

Real trucks don't have spark plugs!
