This is probably never going to happen, But I need to find someone with a 73-75 Second Gen Full hard top to modify to my 76. I think this can be done but I have to find the top first. Any one in Washintong got one? /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif+ /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif= /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I have several Tops and Windshield frames for sale. I even have some 73 rust-free doors, but they are pretty pricey.

I have a top in Vancouver that you can have. I am doing the same conversion to my 80...Some day. I have a body guy that would probably do it for you. If you would like, I'll ask him what he would charge. I know there are a couple of tech articles on CK5 concerning this very topic. Do some research before you just hack the top off your truck. I plan to have a full roll cage built to replace some of the strength that you'll lose from cutting the top off. I also plan to cut out the rockers and replace them with 4x4 steel tube to add strength. I know that TrustyK5 (Rene) has done the conversion on his rig, you might drop him a PM.

Has anyone just tried to modify there exhisting windshield to fit the full top. IS this Possible? I just need it to keep most of the rain out of the truck. I will probably barely even wheel it with it on. I Think I can make it fit, but I have never tried to.

I think I want to get it, but I have to wait a week or so, I was not sure how much they go for and I only have like a 100.00 right now. I get paid in week or so.

    74 blazer hard top

I just returned from Iraq and am looking for a hard top for my 74. I was just wondering if any of you still have these tops for sale. I found one in Michigan but I live in California and wouldn't mind finding one a little closer if I could. My e-mail is adam.youngson@us.army.mil or spcadam@yahoo.com. Thanks for your time.
