    has anybody ever seen a K5 without a removable top. my LMC catalog lists a few parts for blazers without a removable top. anybody have pics? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    I saw that too. They only seem to apply to first gen's too. So i guess some first gen's had a factory soft top option? All the pics that show without removable hard top show a pickup tailgate and a soft top.

    Technically the base models -- at least in the early 70's, donno about later ones -- had no top; both hardtop and soft-top were an option. IF the truck was equipped with the hardtop from the factory (most were) they'd have the tailgate with the glass. If they were the base model, they'd have a pickup-truck-like tailgate.

    Soft-tops were factory in '76, that I know of; dealer-installed for '73-75, and I don't know squat about firstgens, sorry.

    Are you talking about no top or not removable top?
    The 69-75 had an option of top. After 76 it was factory.
    In 92-94 the K5 blazer went IFS and with a non removable hard top.
    Hope that answered your question either way.
