    What's the diff between a full floater and a semi floater?

    85 Burb and an 89 Blazer

    Full floater rear is similar to your front axle. The weight of the rear rides on a hub and bearing. The axleshaft has no weight on it.
    With a semifloater. The weight of the vehicle rides on the axleshaft which rides on a bearing..

    Kind of a vague description, but my mind is goign blank for some reason..
