I would say save your $$ and get something a bit better. I have had the same knife in my pockey for over 3 years. It cost more when I bought it, but it is a great knife and may just last forever.

It's cheap, garish, and will fold onto your fingers, which won't hurt much because it won;t hold an edge.

Do you want a knife to work with, fight with, or look at?

That one might hold up to being looked at.

You can get a decent knife for $20 - $30

My problem is that if I spend over $20.00 on a knife, I can damn near guarantee I'll lose it within a month.

Get a great big one to keep on your belt, or get a neck knife, can't loose those

So where should I be looking for a knife? Under $30, tanto, 3.25 inch blade minimum, and I prefer half-serrated.

I'd be all over the gigantic belt knife, but the folks at school wouldn't appreciate it, and I don't think a lot of customers at work would dig it a whole lot. I was thinking aboot a knife I can get with an ankle sheath though...

What's your deployment time on it?

When I carried my Buck around it was about 3 seconds, if you use a knife a lot, that time adds up
