took my wife and 2 mini weenie dogs to Long Beach, WA yesterday. The dogs had never seen a large body of water before, even a river... so it was all new for them. Anyway, they had a great time running in the water and chasing seagulls away.

54: tube socks are my thing... pretty much wear them every day. Sorta like Peter Jackson with his shorts I guess. ;)

84: they are just run of the mill Old Navy shorts. I like'em a lot.. sorta like cut off BDU pants with all the pockets and such. really cozy too. BC looks like it has a lot of coast line... gotta be some decent beaches up there somewhere. I imagine the water might be a little cold tho.

on our way back to our car we spotted a sealion on the beach, he was sunning himself and having a good time doing it. At first I thought maybe he was dying or something, but he waddled down to the water, flopped around in it to get his skin wet and then crawled back up on the beech. When we got closer to him he looked fine physically... so I guess he was just enjoying the good weather like we were. Rarely have I been to the Or/Wa coast and had the weather be that good... really sunny and warm. It wasn't even that windy for the coast. Pretty much the perfect beach weather day.

Thanks Jason. Im looking for some new shorts, and I like lots of pockets, so those caught my eyes. Im not a creep or anything, I swear. :haha:

Yeah BC has a lot of nice places, but I am anywhere from 9-12+ hours away from them. All I have are lakes and rivers. Which are really nice, just not as nice as beaches.
