I found a little local hole filled with rocks near where I live. I got a chance to test my tube gear on the rocks. Good thing I had it too or I would have taken a lot of damage. Only casualty was the last foot of the exhaust and some chipped paint... everywhere else! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

It's really short, we were in a hurry!

I had the whole right side high centered on the rock slider with both right tires hanging in the air and dragging along. Used them to push me around a corner earlier too. I'm more impressed with the front bumper which without any support braces worked well.

Yup, they look too small. I like your RTI ramp /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Seriously, every time I hear that song "Hero" I picture your rig, because you have that song on one of your videos I think. LOL. Someday, I'll have a rig like that....

Are you kidding, then I'd have to re-gear it again! If anything, I'll step down to 37's after I wear these out. Shouldn't take too long though... /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

    I think it's time for the "2.5 ton rockwell article" /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

That should be enough gear for 48's! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

Thanks. When I first built the silders I built them wide to match the width of the tires. Afterward I sort of regretted making them so wide but after today, it worked out to be just right in keeping things off the tube doors.

Almost caught a rock in the face today hanging out the tube doors, definately easier to see, especially on the passenger side. I'm stoked on the aproach angle I have, but I'm still dragging the front end up the rocks.

Rene, cought a good shot of the 57's in action. I desperately need to make a new shock mount!!!

How about Steves UAV - Now that thing is looking good! Are we starting a pool as to which magazine has him in it first from the next run???
