Hey whats goin on folks? I am having a little problem and any kind of help would be much appreciated. When I drive on the interstate for a while about 2-3 hours, my truck starts to make a loud roaring noise and begins to vibrate my truck really bad, it sounds like when you run over those grooves on the side of the interstate. When I stop and shut the truck off the noise stops but it only happens at about 60 mph or over and gets louder as I increase my speed. Well if anyone has had this problem any kind of help would be great. Thank You

Check the fluid in your differential and see if your tranny fluid smells burnt.

Check all your tires. I had something similar recently, and it turned out to be a big bubble in my right rear tire. A steel belt had snapped, and I guess right after it happened, it was just like you're describing, and eventually became constant no matter what speed or how long I was driving on it...

This is just theory and may be a little off, but it may take some time because the tire heats up and the air in it expands, which would push out the rubber where the belt had seperated.

    Good luck!!

Check also the fan clutch, it may be hanging up at high speed and turning, it'll roar like you're describing.

    Still a very pissed-off

I would check the rear diff and the u-jt's as well... does it only do it after a long time at freeway speeds?
