If anyone is doing a frame off and is looking for a place to clean up your rustbucket, I've found these guys. They do mineral blasting for about $300 and a prime of what's left for about $150. I'll let you know how it turns out.

    Hi,
I would go with por15 instead of primer.
It shouldnt rust again, the smaller stuff i've tried it on seems bulletproof.

The primer is just to protect it so I can get it under cover for sheet metal work after it's been blasted. I'll look into that product. Is it usable in a home shop?

Yes, but you have to wear gloves and clothes you don't care about : )

The stuff will come off of skin in a couple of days, but unless you sand your fingernails down, they'll be black with it for weeks.

It does seem to be really tough, just make sure you prep it according to their instructions. I'm sure they have a website with info, prolly www.por15.com

Hey thanks for the info, I live in Sacto and I will need that service.
Is that a per vehicle price or do they have different quotes for different sizes?
