gas gauge and sending unit test

    I want to do a bench test on a gauge and a sending unit out of a vehicle. What is the wiring scheme. for the gauge. This gauge has 3 copper connections. Not sure where the 12 volts, ground or the sending unit wires hook to. Thanks in advanced.

    which year? i'll see if i have the book at work for the wiring. in most cases just probe with a testlight and a 12v lead. you figure it out real easy
