    1. What is the simplest way to change the gasket that is between the transfer case and the mounting plate?
    2. Where would the fluid be leaking from at this gasket? Trans case or tranny?
I think I sprung the leak from the frame twisting. Is there a way to make this area of the frame stronger?
    I have an 89 with a 700r4 and a NP241. Thanks.

When I had to replace my gasket, I called all the part stores and they could not get the gasket. Just the seal. So I used permatex gasket/sealant. So far no leaks.
