    I have a 6.2 1982 chevy 3/4 ton
One day my gauges and glowplugs stopped working. My fuses are ok and everything else works radio etc. I have fixed the glowplugs but don't know what to do about the rest. Could there be a bad ground somewhere and if so where?

    thanks Karl

    first of all welcome!

im pretty sure i know what im talking about here, feel free to correct me if im wrong!

i dont have any idea about the guages. the glow plugs are controled by what is basically a big temperture sender thats located under the air cleaner housing on the back part of the top of the block on the drives side of the truck. did that make sense? i dont know how it works or how to test it. but you might want to chek the connections there. how ever, since you guages went out at the same time its probably a related problam somewhere else. any ways good luck!

The one I had problems with was at the back of the engine, it went from the intake manifold to the firewall.

    Thanks

I changed the ground going to the firewall. But the gauges still not work. What else is there to check?

I have no idea, pull it apart and check at the gauges.
