Would regular 80-90w lube work?
Im pretty sure thats what you need.
Will work for beer, parts and tools.

Yes, 80-90 is all you need. I installed one of these in an 86 short bed with 10B rear and the LR uses NO clutches. Its just a replacement gear set. No posi-lubes here or anything fancy. Just straight gear oil.
The LR manual recommends 80-14?W, and from experince a lube like Moroso Gear climbing, helps muffle the
