How many quarts of gear oil should a 14bff take? Normally/Roughly?

Also, how many quarts would you expect a 14bff with "thick" 4.56 gears to take?

I got a little under 3 quarts in. Does this sound right? Thanks

IIRC, I would say that sounds correct. I've got the regular 4.10's too... Just keep putting it in there til you can't keep it in anymore... I use the cap on the oil container to plug the hole in the housing so I can fill a little beyond capacity... because some is going to leak out anywho, so I try to get ahead of it! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
