ive got a 14bolt ff w/ 4.10's and a detroit, was wondering if i could swap gears to 4.88 without changing the carrier and keep the detroit. or is the split 4.56?

Yes you can keep the carrier you have now. Order 4.88 thick gears.

Will my carrier work as well, I have 3:73's and I am going to install a detroit and 4:56's or 4:88's

So the thin carriers use the thick gears and the thick carriers use the thin gears. Is that how it works? Whats the point? and which setup is better?
