gear ratio??? whats the formula?

    Hey guys i seem to remember someone saying how you can tell what ratio of gears you have by counting the # of turns of the wheels. anyone know??? thanks for the help!

    the best way is to count teeth on the ring and pinion gears, and divide the ring by the pinion. Or count the # of times the pinion yoke turns in one tire rotation.
