I keep reading about these gear ratios. I was wondering which ratio would be the best for my style of driving. I have an 89 Jimmy with a 350. It's mostly stock height with 31.5x15 tires. I tow a small aluminum boat and rarely try to go anywhere I couldn't get out of. Am I OK with the gears I have? It has the 700r4 tranny and the ten bolt rear end. I forgot to mention I do alot of highway driving for camping and fishing. I like to cruise at 120 kph Thanks

3.42 or 3.73 would be good. Who knows, you might already have one of the two. You didn't tell us what you have.
